SPEAKER PRESENTATION

Pragmatics Agility Optimizes Performance via High Maturity

Conference Track: Achieving Capability in Regulated and Government Environments

Pragmatics is an Information Technology company located in Reston, Virginia, serving US Federal Civilian and DoD customers for the past 32 years. Our Agile Software Development Center has been appraised at CMMI Level 5. To satisfy corporate objectives of continuous improvement, we assess by measuring timeliness of our sprint deliverables within and across projects, enabling us to establish norms, identify outliers, improve individual projects, and predict performance. These measures provide insight into specific project issues, or whether more wide-spread systemic issues exist. Our quantitative models improve our estimation process and enable us to forecast staffing and sprint duration.
