About
Kris Puthucode has 20 years of experience in the software industry. He has been working over the past several years with a diversity of companies including Fortune 500s, and Big Five Consulting Firms in all areas of software and systems engineering, quality, and process management.
Kris has a Computer Engineering degree, and Management education from Stanford University.
Founder of SQC in 2001, today Kris works as a Consultant with 75+ companies including the U.S. Department of Defense, their contractors, Aerospace, Medical device companies, and multi-national organizations in the entire business lifecycle including BD Consulting, and effective “Winning” strategies on the front end, to software & service delivery excellence thru process improvement.
Kris has also led more than 125+ appraisals and audits including Software-CMM®, and CMMI® and other models. In addition, Kris consults on several industry standards like ITIL (ISO 20000), ISO 13485 (Medical Devices), ISO 27001 Information Security Audits, CoBIT®, ISO 9001, DO-178B, Automotive SPICE® (ISO 15504) and similar models.
Kris’s wide job-experiences include companies like GTE (now L3), Coopers and Lybran (now PWC), and Raytheon BBN.
Kris’s certifications include CMMI Institute Certified High Maturity Lead Appraiser, CMMI Instructor, Certified Appraiser and Instructor for the BD-CMM and Certified ISO 15504 Assessor.
