Proactive Risk Management Process for New Engagements

Conference Track: Using Quantitative Techniques to Improve Performance

Risk Management (RM) continues to be the focus area in project management. It also remains the most challenging area in complex or new engagements. The Customer Satisfaction score of our business unit was impacted because of inadequate risk management. Therefore, in 2014 we conducted risk analysis with comprehensive past project risk data and Customer satisfaction scores. Therefore we adopted a multi-dimensional approach to bring in effective RM practices in new engagements. We also implemented various Risk assessment techniques and predictive models. This exercise generated Proactive Risk management to control the customer escalations and resulted in high client satisfaction score.
