About

Osman Iyde, MSc in Operations Research, is a statistical analyst/process engineer at OST, Inc.. He has more than 20 years of experience in defense research & modeling, systems engineering, and technical consulting. He has supported OST's CMMI L5 external appraisal, successfully implemented several predictive models to improve the software development and testing processes, and has conducted analyses on cost estimation and inventory control.

OST, Inc. is the managed service provider for a state government customer. We wanted to build predictive models for our customer so we started with Exploratory Data Analysis. This told us such an intriguing story and took us on an adventure! The analysis provided clues that lead to Causal Analysis and Resolution (CAR) which lead to more discoveries. Prioritizing the solutions, implementing them and tracking them to closure significantly enhanced OST's management of this multi- million dollar, multi-year contract. The journey was totally unexpected but exciting and rewarding - come share it with us and see what you can learn from it!
