About
Virginia has managed a variety of IT projects in both the private and public sectors for the past 35 years. During the past ten years, she has managed State of Michigan enterprise projects that require even more than the usual amount of communication, collaboration, and executive sponsorship to succeed. Virginia played a key role in development of the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE), which is based on a CMMI foundation. Her current challenge is managing the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) program to realize the vision of data as a strategic asset that can be leveraged to provide the highest quality government service to Michiganders.
